CUSTOM ITEMS
Look for celebrity style stars who have your body type or similar frame and take pointers from their dress code.

In my experience attending events, I have learnt that while it may seem like a daunting task, custom made outfits will rescue you any day from looking like three other girls' twin. Yes, I am sure you have attended a function and found someone either wearing your shoes or even worse-your dress!
Luckily for me, the dress thing has never happened. This is not to say it wont ever happen but i avoid it best I can.

yes there are those emergency events which require emergency outfits and from my experience shopping at deaprtment stores like Mr. Price, Legit or wherever else, if it's new on stock, looooord it's a bad idea because you and twelve other bitches went for that dress!

I then discovered the power of having a seamstress on call. Even if i purchase a dress from the store, in order not to match Betty and Jane, I am almost always tempted to add that personal touch. it works like a charm. Being a woman, playing dress up and exploring with varied looks is the most amazing thing.

Imagination is also a key component in mastering custom designs. While my style is very classy, nothing punkish and too flashy, i do use my imagination a lot to make dressing up a breeze. Inspired thought is also important- you cant possibly know it all so yeas do follow fashionistas and read lots of fashion blogs and magazines for ideas. Do not wait for an event to make an outfit, just make it! It gives you options for any functions that crop up as emergency. No one has more fun than i do at a fabric shop because that is a building felt with endless possibility.

MAKEUP SECRETS:
Growing up watching women on T.V looking flawless in their makeup, with out a dent or flaw on the covers of magazines, I didn't consider Photoshop or how pictures can be exploited to give out an image that simply does not exist. Its one thing to look like barbie in a picture but Wecka flocka in reality, here are tips on how to take that photo shopped finish into your day to day life using make-up. Bare again in mind that make up is meant to enhance and compliment your natural feature, so it's important to know just how to apply it best.
We live in a time were make up Technics can slim your nose, widen your eyes and make you look like a vision of perfection. Do remember that while makeup is ideal for coverage, good skin is it's foundation. While it can hide blemishes, it cant hide pimple so make sure to take care of your skin-dietary and regime wise.
Here are 8 simple steps to achieving that airbrushed look:

1.

APPLY PRIMER

After you moisturize, spread on a light primer with silica, which has a filling effect. A foundation that's creamy and moisturizing won't settle into fine lines and wrinkles, but use it sparingly—the more you add, the more pronounced lines will look.

2.
PICK FOUNDATION WISELY
Choose a liquid foundation with silicone. Avoid luminous or matte ones (they make the skin appear either too moist or too flat to be natural), and instead look for the words "lightweight," "sheer," or "invisible." Some lightweight foundations won't mask every flaw, though.

3.

FIND YOUR SHADE

To find a foundation that matches your complexion, test the color on your neck. Your skin tone is more uniform there than it is on your face, so you'll wind up with a shade that's just right. You'll also avoid that dreaded demarcation along the jawline.

4.

APPLY SPARINGLY

Dab on six dime-size dots of foundation: two on your forehead, one each on the tip and along the sides of your nose, and the last on your chin. Using two fingers, spread the color over your forehead, down your nose, across your cheeks, over your chin, and along the sides of your face. Always blend down or sideways—never up—to prevent foundation from catching in peach fuzz.

5.

USE YOUR FINGERS

Blend the liquid toward the perimeter of your face. It will get sheerer as you move closer to your hairline and jaw, preventing any harsh lines.

6.

DIFFUSE WITH A SPONGE

Tap a clean, damp makeup sponge around the nose, over wrinkles, and anywhere your base is noticeable to remove excess that could crease or emphasize lines. TheBeautyBlender's pointed end gets around your nose; its oval base is perfect elsewhere.

7.

HIDE IMPERFECTIONS

• With a fine-tipped brush, dab a solid concealer over blemishes or dark spots that are still visible. Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage comes with two shades you can blend.
• Get rid of redness with a yellow-based foundation, such as Clinique Redness Solutions Makeup. Smooth it over any discoloration with your fingers, and then blur the edges with a damp makeup sponge.
• Hide undereye circles with a creamy formula, such as Maybelline New York Fit Me! Foundation, tapping it on with your ring finger.
8.

POWDER YOUR NOSE (AND YOUR CHEEKS, AND YOUR FOREHEAD...)

Dip a large, fluffy brush in loose translucent powder. (We like Dior DiorSkin Matte and Luminous Hydrating Loose Powder.) Tap off excess and dust powder where you tend to get shiny.

STYLE CRUSH: Kendall Jenner

I know the Kardashian overkill can send some souls to the chokes but well what's a girl to do when one family simply domnimates the entertainment scene as well as they have managed to for the past 6 years. Today is Kendall's 18th birthday. What a fine woman she has grown up to be. To me she is a skinny version of Kim. Very pretty! The Seventeen Magazine brand ambassador may have already celebrated her big birthday in a big way at magic mountain but we'l bestow her the honour of crushing on her style.
At 5"10 she is every designer's dream. Sure thang is lil miss Jenner is hear to stay...

She wore this splendid red gown at Fashion Week 2013

Black and white never lose their chic appeal with a pop of red, the look becomes a classic.

KIM TO POSE NUDE FOR PLAYBOY?

Kim Kardashian is keen to bare all for Playboy again after becoming a mum to baby daughter North this summer, just so she can show those who poked fun at her pregnancy weight gain she’s hot again.
The reality TV star, who became engaged to boyfriend Kanye West on her 33rd birthday last week, stripped for the December 2007 issue of the men’s magazine and she’s keen to appear naked in Hugh Hefner’s publication again after losing her baby weight.
In a candid chat with sister Khloe, which aired on the family’s Keeping up With the Kardashians on Sunday night, she confessed, “I just wanna come out to the world, like, naked and be, like, ’I look so hot. I’m back! You all called me a whale, Shamu, a cow...’”
And she revealed there’s one special part of her body she’d like the world to see: “When I came back from the hospital, the first thing I did was go and look at my vag (vagina) in the mirror and it looks better looking than before.”
Kardashian also says that she and West are eager to give their daughter a sibling, despite the reality TV star’s difficult pregnancy.
Kardashian gave birth to little North five weeks early in June, after suffering complications from preeclampsia, but the new mum admits she is loving motherhood and wants to eventually add to her family.
She said in a recent interview with Extra “We definitely want some (more children). It’s everything you could ever imagine and more... It’s the best feeling, it’s the most rewarding job and I recommend everyone go through the process.”
The new mom has also been wearing a lot of white proving that she needs not hide in shame in the once believed to be slimming black. We loving how fabulous she is looking. An egg to the faces of all those mean people who made Kimmy's pregnancy a living hell. While I personally think Kim has become too good for a cheap thrill magazine like playboy, I think a come back nude cover is just too brilliant.
