IN FASHION NEWS: Luxy Fashions a brand of hand designed clothing from Taiwan. The clothing is designed by a lady there who has been in the fashion industry for a long time and decided to run her own business.

Her designs are very feminine as the dresses she creates have a whimsical flare. People travel all over the world to purchase clothing from the woman and Kathy Lui is one of those people. She travels to Taiwan to purchase these clothes and sells them locally at an affordable price range. Luxy fashions’ items are priced from as minimal as E350 to E1200.

 “We have a range of clothes that appeal to young ladies. Usually the type that are stylish, quality conscious and elegant,” Kathy says. Although Luxy Fashions does not operate from a boutique, from word of mouth the brand has been able to lure a handful of fashion lovers. But the young business woman is adamant that with time and expansion, she will be able to open a store of her own.  Earlier in the year Luxy fashions showcased their clothing during a winter fashion show which was held at Sibane Hotel in April.

The range is without question, elegant!  The only limitation with the clothing by Luxy Fashions is that it may not cater for plus sized women as all their designs are targeted for the petite to average size woman. Kathy can be found at Luxy Gardens at the corner plaza (Mbabane, Swaziland) which is a Chinese restaurant that she also manages.
